Valentine & Clark Emerging Artist Fellow, Jacob Burns Film Center, 2016

Fall Emerging Artist Fellow for at the Jacob Burns Film Center's Media Lab. Wrote, directed and produced a short stop-motion animated comedy, Nevada, using their facilities, equipment and staff.

Animator, Dusty Studios, Bronx, NY, 2015 - 2016

Created 12-60 second short animations for Animation Hotline series inspired by anonymous voicemails left for the studio. Additional commissioned work for Freeform, TED, etc. Animations typically chalk on a slate.

Freelance animation assistant, fabricator and illustrator, for a series of three music videos for Grammy and VMA nominated client, Tommy Trash. Animated puppets and set elements. Set/background painting and building, puppet design and production.

Freelance work for stop-motion film Henrietta Bulkowski, directed by Rachel Johnson with Starburns Industries. Work included set building and painting, animation tests for replacement faces, puppet assembly, set-dressing, creative problem solving and organization.

Produced sizzles for development and pitching of new TV series. Edited video, music, voice over and graphics. 

Fabrication Intern, Puppet Heap, Hoboken, NJ, 2014

Worked with the studio responsible for fabricating Muppets puppets as well as additional commissions and unique puppets. Fabricated and customized a sub-character of the Muppet series. Assisted with additional commissioned builds. Fabrication involved foam work, sewing, sculpting and character design. 

Fabrication Assistant, Basil Twist, Manhattan, NY, 2014 

Assister Basil Twist team with a build for Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast. Worked specifically on the enchantress puppet for the USA and Asian tour of the production. 

Set Design, Providence Ballet Theater, Providence, RI, 2014

Collaborated with the Providence Ballet Theater to design and produce mock-ups for the set of a new ballet, The Magic Box, with an interdisciplinary group of RISD students. Oversaw and managed design plans and production. We designed a concept that encompassed set, lighting, costuming and storyboarding. 

Exhibition Production Intern, American Museum of Natural History, Manhattan NY, 2013 

Assisted the exhibition department’s production of The Power of Poison exhibit. Created a tableau of the three witches from Macbeth. Constructed and sculpted the ground on which the witches would stand; manipulated, painted and altered costumes, wigs, mannequins and accessories.
