Snowflake House

An artist's book inspired by a ritual my sister and I started when we were young. Whenever we thought it might snow, we threw paper snowflakes from our staircase and danced underneath them. Our snow dance helped ensure school would be cancelled.

Text embossed on door reads:

"Snow, snow, / come to stay / We'll go to school / another day / Little sisters want to play"

Hand cut paper snowflakes and museum board.
